Mmmm! Taste Sweet!

(Imported from my PocketFive's Blog)

Hi everybody!

I'm really happy today, I've won my first tourney. It's not been a "big" thing: $3 Rebuy, ~200 players and 6 hours of play but... Hey! is the best I've ever done!. It feels even better after a hard begining of the month. I haven't played a lot of tournaments since september the 1st but man those I played were awful. I know that bad beats and cooler are in the game and one of my goals is to learn to deal with them so this time, instead of playing like a drunk monkey (well that's my usual way of playing XD) i decided to relax a bit, slow down the pace and take a small break. I watched some videos and review the fundamentals to be sure I was on the right way.

If you ever consider my opinion regarding joining a poker training site I will tell you that is definitively worth the money if you are going to spend the time required to study the game. Maybe you've been born for playing poker and don't need to watch the video while you are multitabling 8 MTT to get the most out of it but if that's just not the case (like me), study them, take notes and watch them again if you actually get it and you will extract a lot of value.

The last point is about PLB. I begun #16 in Madrid, one month later I'm #9 and just 100 points behind #8. I hope to keep this pace the whole year so I can finish in the top 3.

I wish you all have good luck at the tables (unless you play against me ;)).

Bye
